Knocksense: A local content and recommendations platform

People in Delhi are forever hungry. We are hungry while we shop at Khan Market, hungry when we are on our way back home after a long day, hungry while working in office and waiting for that lunch break. For people who are forever hungry, on the prowl and looking for something different, just the old places would not do.

So for those, who are seeking something new every now and then, here’s a list of new places in Delhi that you need to checkout.

Bean Sahab

This new cafe in Janakpuri, New Delhi, is all about coffee. Perfectly brewed, strong and flavourful, you will find all sorts of coffees here. We recommend the Belgian Mocha, Coconut Mocha, Iced Vanilla Latte, Signature Frappes and Irish Frappes. You can pair the coffees with pastas, burgers and pizzas here, but don’t forget, at Bean Sahab it is all about coffees.

Location: B-2/B-1, Janankpuri, New Delhi

Daler

This new place is all about being grand and over the top, the geometrical patterns on the floors, the decor and the furniture make the restaurant look extremely pretty. But what is more stunning than the decor is the food here. The North Indian food at Daler is exceptional, do try the Mutton Barra, Bhatti chicken, murgh kali mirch tikka, kastoori kebab, fish fry, paneer tikka roll, soya chaap and mutton tandoori express.

Location: A 15, Vishal Enclave, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi

Dimcha

If you are a fan of dumplings and dimsums, this is a place for you. Order yourself a bunch of dumplings, different varieties, different kinds. Do try the chicken and chive dumplings, the chicken in chili oil dumplings and prawn har gao dumpling. You can also go for the Burmese Khao Suey, the whole chicken dinner, the tofu delight, Mangolian chicken, stir fried fish.

Delivery Only Kitchen: Delivers in and around Vasant Kunj, New Delhi

Doodle’s Garden

Doodle’s Garden is one of the few places in Delhi where you can breathe a breath of fresh air because of all the garden plants here. The place is covered in plants and colours of nature, green, brown and yellow are given prominence here. As you enter the place you would be enveloped with warmth and freshness. The food here is also an ode to nature, fresh ingredients making meals more rounded and more delicious. Try the load of fresh things they offer, you wouldn’t be disappointed. The baked lilly nachos here are a must try.

Location: Plot 1, 2nd Floor, NWA Club Road, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi

Escobar- The Hideout

This Mexican themed cafe is one of our favourites when it comes to the food and ambience both. The decor here makes the cafe-bar seem like it’s built inside a cave, with guns hanging on the walls as decor pieces, lanterns swinging from the ceiling, the cafe-bar takes you back to the infamous Mexican drug series Sopranos. The food here though, isn’t Mexican per se, though the loaded fries, the pablo burgers and the pizzas are as good as they come.

Location: Shop 5, C-9/62, Sector-8, Rohini, New Delhi
