Summer arrives early in Ahmedabad; Temperature inches closer to 40°C
Ahmedabad experienced sweltering heat on Tuesday with the maximum temperature in the city being recorded at 39.9°C. While this max temperature was 1.6°C above normal, the minimum temperature was 3.4°C higher than average. The weather department has predicted the heat to continue on Wednesday with temperature staying there and thereabouts.
‘Multi-species Safari Parks’ to come up across Gujarat
The Gujarat government is planning to set up several multi-species safari parks across the state. This will be a divergence from the single species park that are currently functional in Gujarat. Notably, the places where these parks will come up are Banaskantha’s Palanpur, Amreli’s Una Taluka, and Koteshwar in Kutch.
Direct flights from Ahmedabad to Malaysia, Saudi, and Thailand SOON

A total of 14 sites have been identified on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train route where wind monitoring systems will be set up. Out of these 14 earmarked locations, five are in Maharashtra while the other nine are in Gujarat.
