Badla, a Sujoy Ghosh directorial film, continues its winning streak as it collects Rs 3.75 crore on its second Friday at the box-office. The crime drama, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles, has packed a total of Rs 50 crore in its eight-day run in cinemas, which, by all means, is beyond amazing.

Not to mention that Badla has fared better on its 8th day in comparison to its 6th and 7th day, which is a rare occurrence. According to the famous movie analyst, Taran Adarsh, the business will witness “superb” growth on Saturday and Sunday, which hints at a healthy second weekend.

Naina, the character played by Taapsee Pannu in the movie who gets stuck in a murder scandal. Amitabh Bachchan, much like the 2016 movie Pink, plays a lawyer to her character. The film also stars Amrita Singh, Manav Kaul and Tony Luke in pivotal roles.

Badla is an official adaptation of the 2017 Spanish film The Invisible Guest, met with positive critical reception upon its release. The good reviews from the audience has largely been favourable and turned out to be a business booster.

Presented by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Azure Entertainment, Badla is produced by Gauri Khan, Sunir Kheterpal and Akshai Puri and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The movie is running successfully in theatres across the globe.
