inBangladesh on Tuesday announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming World Cup slated to be held in England and Wales. Mashrafe Mortaza will be leading the side in the showpiece event while Shakib Al Hasan will serve as his deputy. Middle-order batsman Mosaddek Hossain, who last played for Bangladesh in the Asia Cup last year, has made a comeback for the world cup. The Bangladesh selectors have also named pacer Abu Jayed in the squad. Jayed, who is yet to make his debut in ODIs, had impressed with his swing bowling during the Tests in New Zealand last month.

Bangladesh will begin their World Cup campaign against South Africa at the Kennington Oval on June 2. Before that, they will play two practice matches against Pakistan and India on May 26 and 28, respectively.

Apart from Bangladesh, New Zealand, Australia and India have also announced their squads for the prestigious quadrennial event starting from May 30.

Raj is already the highest scorer in women's international cricket across three formats, in the world.

Indian women skipper Mithali Raj created history by going past 20,000 career runs during the India-Australia ODI match at the Harrup Park in Mackay on September 21. With a knockoff of around 61 runs from 8 overs, she marked an outstanding performance, taking her team to bag 225/8 in the assigned 50 overs. Raj is already the highest scorer in women's international cricket across the three formats of the game - a feat she aachieved during the England tour, earlier this year.

UP to soon get a new 200-acre-wide data centre park

The new data centre will come up in Noida's Sector-28

In a bid to cultivate Uttar Pradesh's commercial landscape, the state administration has planned to develop data centre park in Noida. This structure will reportedly spread over 200 acres of land at Sector 28 of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority and attract investments from IT industry giants in India and abroad. The plan is expected to roll out by the end of August.
