Kanjoos, a comic play

In case you were looking for a gripping yet comedic experience, this play is where you got to be. Based on the French play ‘The Miser’, ‘Kanjoos’ gives a Desi twist to the French classic. The play follows complex characters who perfectly encapsulate the spirit of an incorrigible miser, a servant, who awaits the appearance of his lost rich father and a daughter who is docile and diplomatic. The play puts a funny spin and by the end, you’ll be in splits.

Heat Sink Piano Man

For some diverse musical styles and vibes, head on down to Piano Man Jazz Club, where the Ahmedabad based indie rock band, Heat Sink will perform. Their style covers everything from John Coltrane to Pink Floyd and their fusion of jazz and progressive rock is something that will leave you at a loss of words. Through their music and experimentation, they aim to present thought provoking ideas. The band has performed at multiple events such as The Big Squat Festival, JamLouder, and Moto Jojo, Ahmedabad.

The Pulwama incident cast a shadow of gloom over the nation. We lost more than 40 of our braves. Firstly, Knocksense pays its deepest tributes to the martyrs and condolences to the families. However, several groups have come forward to raise funds for the families of the deceased. Amongst them is the duo of Manish Tyagi and Anshu Mor who are staging a stand up comedy show. The proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards welfare & benefit of the families of the pulwama martyrs. So indeed you will be laughing for a cause.

Mumbai's Sion Flyover to remain shut on weekends till January 9, 2022 due to repair work

The Mumbai Traffic Police on Friday announced that the Sion flyover will remain closed every weekend, for the next three months, due to the repair work undertaken by the Maharashtra State Roads Development Corporation (MSRDC). The vehicle shutdown here will be clocked from 10 PM on Saturday to 6 AM on Monday, till January 9, 2022. Several route diversions have been put in place by the city traffic police department to allow an unhindered automobile movement during the closure, added reports. Check all alternate track here:

Amusement parks in Maharashtra to open for visitors from Oct 22nd

Newly launched e-buses to connect Lucknow to nearby rural areas from October 25

The fares for the e-buses will range from ₹5 for 3 km to ₹37 for more than 25 km

The newly launched electric buses in the city will ply on a new route, connecting Lucknow to the rural areas around, starting October 25. This will be the first time that such a service will be deployed in these areas, wherein commuters will be able to travel to and from the city, in the comfort of new state-of-the-art e-buses. The trials for the same are currently underway.
