Knocksense: A local content and recommendations platform

Satya Niketan is the official hangout place for students all around Delhi. No matter how broke you are, if you want to throw a party, Satya Niketan is always there for you. There are a ton of restaurants and cafes here that serve delicious grub at dirt cheap prices and Big Yellow Door is one of our favourites.

The literal "Big Yellow Door" of the cafe is hard to miss and the hanging planters are a treat for our eyes. As soon as you walk into the cafe the cutesy interior is the first thing you notice and then all the fairy lights, green and the plants.

The interior of the cafe is cute as a button and it makes for very instagrammable selfies and pictures. What's more is that the vibe of the cafe is very inviting so you'll feel chill here instantly.

Another great thing about the cafe is its menu. They have a plethora of dishes, all of which are great BTW and all of which are way cheaper than you'd expect them to be.

I mean they sell delish burgers and fully loaded nachos for just ₹99! What more can anyone ask for?

The grub here is not just cheap, it tasty too, we recommend trying the burgers, nachos (obviously), the pizza, baked alfredo pasta (which is one of our most loved dishes of all time) and the sandwiches.

We would also recommend the pizza on baguette, the smoked chicken and cheese sandwich, pizza hat burgers and any of the signature BYD dishes.

Not just that, you can get a plethora of beverages there that will instantly take away the sweltering heat of the harsh Delhi summers.

You can also get a number of dessert options to round up your meal and provide the much needed sweet ending to the sumptuous meal.

So if it's your birthday, the two year anniversary of your relationship or your friend's farewell party, head to Big Yellow Door at Satya Niketan and stop worrying about the bill.

P.S.- They also serve amazing coffee, do try it in case you are a caffeine addict like me.
