Knocksense: A local content and recommendations platform

A Sunday breakfast for us usually means that we want to gorge on some steaming hot Chole Bhature with a glass of cold lassi! Sunday is meant for guilty pleasures and calories simply don’t count on this particular day!

The immensely famous Civil Lines Wala joint has branched out here at Sector 15 and our inner foodie can already taste their spicy chole on our palate, and we can almost feel the crispy yet soft bhature in our hands!

Our Take!

It is a matter of celebration that Civil Lines Wala is here in Gurugram!

We tried their masaledar Chole Bhature which was a solid 10 and their chatpata aloo-pyaaz chur naan thali gained an honest 9 out of 10!

The chur-chur naans were utterly buttery and super delicious and as we are writing this, we’re almost drooling again.

The Chole Bhature were very light and absolutely not oily like other food joints serving the same.

They had also won the certificate for Best Chole Bhature in Gurgaon which they have proudly displayed on their wall and missing out on this mouth-watering experience is an inexcusable sin in the foodie world.

We finished off our meal with a cup of chai and this desi breakfast cannot be matched by any other!

This place is pocket-friendly with great value for money.

The best plate of chhole bhature in all of Gurugram with khatti-teekhi pickle, mint-chutney and juicy onions should be reason enough for you to bring back the concept of breakfast dates back in style!

They also serve other Punjabi delicacies like aloo paratha, rajma chawal and even dal makhani- all of this at a reasonable rate while filling your tummy!

Where: K-125, Old Judiciary Complex, Opposite Bank Of Baroda. Sector 15, Gurugram!

Cost: ₹150 for two!
