Tucked away in the bustling lanes of Greater Kailash 1, is a quaint cafe- Brooklyn Bakehouse. Merely a ten minutes drive away from the Greater Kailash metro station, the cafe has an understated yet brilliant decor and the food they serve has us going gaga. If you’re looking to nosh on some beautifully baked pizza, bread, pasta and desserts, the Brooklyn bakehouse Cafe should be you go to place.

The cafe has the classic-modern chic, white and black theme going on, which provides the interiors with an understated charm. Everything put together makes the place quite chic and very instagrammable.

And that is not even the best part about the place, the food at Brooklyn Bakehouse is the real showstopper.

Brooklyn Bakehouse has introduced a new concept wherein if you order a pizza you’re given an option to choose two types of toppings for the pizza and turn it into a half and half. The concept is quite intriguing, it makes sure that if you and your company has a difference of opinion with your topping choice, no-one has to compromise.

We had the half and half pizza with the Popeye pizza and Farmer’s choice, and it was like an awakening. The rust of the pizza remains super thin, the cheese has a good coverage, the sauce ratio is perfect and the toppings drool-worthy. We were especially taken by the Popeye pizza which has a creamy spinach topping, it was the highlight of our meal.

We also tried the baked mac and cheese, the croissant sandwich and the avocado toast. While the mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy and was perfectly on point, the croissant soft delicious and fresh, what had us bowled over was the simple avocado toast. The toast, which was fresh because of the salsa and luxuriously creamy with the avocado, was an absolute surprise. We would recommend it a hundred percent.

We would also recommend their chocolate croissant, with warm oozing dark chocolate, the Dark Knight (Brownie Nutella thick shake) and the hot chocolate with melty marshmallows floating on top.

The Brooklyn Bakehouse, though new in the market, has already created a buzz for itself with its delicious food and ingenious dishes. We would especially recommend going to the cafe and indulging in the plethora of dishes they have to offer.
