KKR vs MI: A must win match for KKR- Match Preview, Dream11 Team Tips & More

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s fate now depends on how Kolkata Knight Riders fare against Mumbai Indians. Both sides are on 12 points but with SRH’s net run rate being far superior to that of KKR, a win for Mumbai on Sunday will make it impossible for SRH to make it to the fourth spot.

KKR has everything to play for when they face Mumbai Indians on Sunday. It is the last game of the group stage and a loss for the Knight Riders would mean that the Sunrisers make it to the playoffs anyhow.

MI were swept aside by the belligerence of Andre Russell the last time these two sides met. The Jamaican all-rounder came in at number three and took his time to get settled before unleashing himself in the death overs to propel KKR to a total of 232. MI lost the match by 34 runs.

KKR vs MI: Dream11 Team Picks

Dew is not much of a factor in Wankhade stadium and the temperature will remain under 30 degrees in Mumbai on Sunday evening. Considering these weather conditions and batting-friendly pitch, here are our top 6 players to pick in your Dream11 team.

First pick - Hardik Pandya as he is in super form both with the bat and the ball and can not be kept out of any fantasy team. Number two in the list is Rohit Sharma - he usually wins one match for MI single handedly every season, this year though that has not happened yet and today it could well be his day. Evin Lewis is another impact player that has not fired yet from Mumbai Indians so go for him today.

From KKR, Andre Russell is a no brainier due to his top form and KKR team management’s decision to send him in early. Chris Lynn has also shown consistency and is a valuable pick for today’s match. While many players will go for Shubhman Gill, we recommend Nitish Rana for today’s match.
