Knocksense: A local content and recommendations platform

Honestly folks, we think we should start being kinder towards vegetarians because they go through life without the pleasures of tasting meat and that’s surely a bummer! Once you’ve tasted meat, there’s no going back!

Tearing off tender meat drippin’ with sauces, from the bones or just biting into a smoked meaty cut, will always give us a joy which isn’t anywhere to be found in kadhai paneer or malai mushroom- you know it!

Our perpetually hungry tummies and our appetite for exploring the city, to catch hold of the best carnivorous meals in town landed us at Imbiss Meating Joint, here in Bandra. Definitely not a fine-dine, it is a comfortable German joint, where you can dig your fingers in the hearty food and let your jeans button loose and we know you’d need to!

The Ultimate Roast!

Among all the dishes on their menu, we heard a lot of praises of the Tongue Roast they serve, which comes in pork and beef variants and let us tell you- IT WAS A CARNIVAL OF FLAVOURS IN OUR MOUTH!

They serve hearty portions of sliced and cured tongue, with sauteed onions, fried potatoes, tomatoes, and pepper sauce which gives it a fiery kick and it is juicy AF!

Of course this ain’t a regular choice from a meat stocked menu but Imbiss has several options which are offbeat and ain’t available anywhere else in the city. That’s what made our visit to this place so indelible- we simply cannot get over the aroma of the grills or the sumptuous taste and textures of the meat delicacies available here!

But if your gut isn’t feeling too adventurous, you can stick to the other ‘regular’ options like the Milanese Nepolitana, Eggplant Schnitzel, Bavarian Sandwich or just opt for the good ol’ Fish ‘n’ Chips!

Wash it all down their Ginger Beer or Glinter and it’ll be a meal to remember. The portions are hearty and the pricing is decent, so if you wanna pig out while feasting on the best meat fare in town, Imbiss is where you gotta make a stop.
