The smell of freshly crafted beer and the experience of having it beats bottled beer any day and that is why Delhiites have long been waiting for a micro brewery in the city. In a new turn of events, Delhi will get its first microbrewery by mid-June and we’re all ready for it.

As of now, Delhiites have to plan a trip all the way to Gurugram, where the number of microbreweries is constantly growing. The move to make microbreweries legal in the national capital comes four years too late.

Currently, the officials that are immersed in the work towards making a microbrewery in the city. As part of this, they will look at a few centralized areas with high footfall and a market for such bars. Eventually, after the survey, they will finally start giving out licenses which enable microbreweries to sell freshly made beer.

Delhiites have long been waiting for this piece of good news. No longer do they have to make their way into the clubs and pubs of Gurugram. The new move brings such places closer to home and our hearts.

Though the final microbreweries will be completed by mid June, it is great to see some work happening in the field. We are eager about the coming change and can not wait until the micro brewery will finally open for the public.
