If you've crossed or been anywhere near the Transport Nagar or K.D. Singh Babu Stadium metro stations here in Lucknow, we're sure that your eyes must've caught the vibrant artworks donning the walls here. These colossal and vividly hand-painted murals have definitely breathed a new lease of life in these two vicinities and all the credit goes to The New Art.
An art-startup based in Delhi, The New Art are a team of artists and designers who curate realistic murals which are truly a sight to behold and within a short period of time, they've whipped up over 300 artworks all over India. All of these art pieces done by them, are originally designed by the team, from scratch.
An outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been plaguing citizens globally and with each passing day, the mortality rates have been on a fluctuating ride. Since COVID-19 has promptly risen up as a pandemic disease, people have been fretting to keep it at bay and this universal chaos, has led to the promulgation of wrong and ambiguous informations as well.
Stay at home<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE2NC9vcmlnaW4uanBnIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTY1MjA2NDU5MH0.ED1rLyTpVbKqZQVcjSOjP-dUPAT0JFBQaJbxOrT0as0/img.jpg?width=980" id="3dc8c" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="9d1a766a9ffa13cfb2c5ad2ea4162ce0" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>Do stay at home as much as possible (can hear the introverts shouting hallelujah) and consider taking extra precautions! Sanitize whatever you use and prohibit the entry of visitors to major extents. If you have a guest over, make sure to keep him/her confined to certain areas of your house instead of letting him/her stroll all around. Make sure to use 'please' to make it sound courteous. </p>
Wash your hands frequently<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE2NS9vcmlnaW4uanBnIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTU5NDc4MTIxN30.KvATcqu5GF-PldQNuIETMLD4iGjXaUjUHKN6Y0z8aOs/img.jpg?width=980" id="94c74" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="bb59606d19502a304b535382ab36f963" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>This should be followed even without a pandemic hanging over your head but now, make sure to wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds with a proper hand wash. Take cues from Lady Macbeth! Proper handwashing not only reduces the spread of COVID-19 but it can also prevent the proliferation of other viral illnesses such as cold and flu. </p>
Maintain social distancing<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE2Ny9vcmlnaW4uanBnIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTYxMDM5NzM3NH0.Ayg_OunL2KkQq-U_N7BcqS9DUssaMzdxSfg8Dj5SKZ8/img.jpg?width=980" id="31000" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="45d7a7ccd70f22622d413615069282ed" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>Of course, not all of us are privileged enough to stay at home even during such conditions and at certain times, going out is absolutely crucial. So avoid public gatherings and places like the gyms and malls as much as you can because you'll never know, who has sneezed where or on what! Maintain a safe distance from people and practice self-isolation if needed.</p>
Don't touch your face, eyes & mouth<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE3MC9vcmlnaW4uanBnIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTYwNzYyNTY1Mn0.3dkTqdlcAYgOYwPYCKIXFKZIi1ogz9zbrE0l7WdC7IY/img.jpg?width=980" id="9caeb" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="3b2d643966d8b38e92e1ea1cd1a6e884" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>Your hands have a mind of their own! Even without you knowing, you end up touching surfaces which can lead you to picking up various viruses. Once contaminated, your hands can transfer these viruses to your body through the eyes, nose or mouth. So avoid touching your face, no matter how difficult it is.</p>
Use an alcohol based sanitizer<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE3MS9vcmlnaW4uanBnIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTYzNjE5ODEwN30.GWLB2sO1m3E4hkHc2vXlrH07-YVSUMZ_L1TmtMg_PQc/img.jpg?width=980" id="1c63e" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="b883e5baef68cfc90d38b21d1669207d" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>Hand hygiene has become primarily significant at this point. The use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers with greater than 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol, is the preferred form of hand sanitizing methods right now. But remember, although hand sanitizers can help reduce the risk of catching certain infections, not all hand sanitizers are equally effective against coronavirus.</p>
Wear a mask before stepping out<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE3My9vcmlnaW4uanBnIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTYxMzk2NjY2MH0.vx_bCYOZ3x44nYnSPuncWTDcAZwNRUGL8Xuo0-dGKMc/img.jpg?width=980" id="295e6" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="b6e2df836ad296f1f57a2f9d5f1e3dd4" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>The time has come where we need to wear an actual mask before stepping out because a 'happy face' isn't making the cut anymore. Although coronavirus doesn't actually waft in the air for us to catch it that way but wearing a mask will help you in keeping your hands off your face and from contaminants entering your body. </p>
Refrain from eating out<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE3NC9vcmlnaW4uanBnIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTYyMDc2ODcxNX0.V6zHb9zvCIqgGscjdRG_8_OeWx6NAIwN0MJSgqBqhf8/img.jpg?width=980" id="545b6" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="910a1a63ef84c0a031d0df9202c51541" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>Instead of dining out, consider ordering in but don't do it too occasionally. You might not know which piece of cutlery or food item has been contaminated and eating out will only increase your chances of falling sick. So for a change, you can even visit your kitchen to dish out some delicacies of your own.</p>
Practice respiratory hygiene<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE3Ny9vcmlnaW4ucG5nIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTY0MDUzMzMxNH0.CS-3cFwy-6A50lIuzX40VbpKTNMBP9dT0LGjapwAaHQ/img.png?width=980" id="66443" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="36f6e386aa08829d60ac12fba78415e9" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>Following good respiratory hygiene is the need of the hour. This means, covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow when you cough or sneeze. After this, dispose of the used tissue immediately! These sneeze droplets can spread viruses quicker than anything else, so be prompt about it.</p>
Consume immunity boosters<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE3OC9vcmlnaW4uanBnIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTY0MDkxMjQ1OH0.PuuGRM7ST3_zF97hHnwVAzFOMKY2HpW7NJOmPtRgomg/img.jpg?width=980" id="71d85" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="3d692bc5186dc4c88e218d67034a83e3" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>Since this disease feeds on the weak, make sure to ingest enough immunity boosters to beat it! Feasting on Vitamin C based grubs, citrusy fruits and yogurt, amidst other things can give your immunity a major boost. </p>
Be considerate of the elderly<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE4MC9vcmlnaW4ucG5nIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTYwODY5NjgyNH0.g0-vpkBywkdq6aJau6RAR1KXjcLoRoizujuh7vOnFsU/img.png?width=980" id="ea171" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="41b9b1afb04b34ac90655ed1eb757057" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>Medical experts are stating that people aged above 60 are said to be at maximum risk. Particularly, the elderly folks with underlying medical conditions. Experts are attributing some of the risk to a weak immune system which occurs with age and during such a period, do be considerate of the oldies. Make sure to check up on them and try talking them out of their anxiety with positive facts!</p>
Pay heed to the Government directives<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE4MS9vcmlnaW4uanBnIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTU5NjMwMjMxOH0.ueeGpCW-hvGoItRyT9EqLyMm3UMD4oCASpKo99ZBUgM/img.jpg?width=980" id="9abc8" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="895342ad2c5d55f542b6930ff6bf49a8" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>The government is doing its bit in proliferating the correct information to ease out all our stress related to COVID-19 so be mindful of the directives being circulated. Contact the helpline numbers if required and read up the verified websites to be better informed. </p>
Take your symptoms seriously<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE4Mi9vcmlnaW4uanBnIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTYxMTU4NjMzNH0.MDbAxAtB9jrnt-btAGVVTwr3NYTNDMnZBzjfEr3FUX4/img.jpg?width=980" id="5393a" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="c2e21e6820a09dff7b51123af02bfc08" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>COVID-19 is deceptive. It might feel like an allergy or the common cold but be aware of the symptoms. Do not self-diagnose and even at the slightest of symptoms, do let your local paramedics/doctors know. Do not take the signs lightly because coronavirus can be fatal, within a blink of an eye!</p>
Don't self-medicate<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE4My9vcmlnaW4uanBnIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTYzNjgwMjY3M30.CMOcGwEvkStYapbH6jEzkco8DHTToRDiX5RXoNC9wUE/img.jpg?width=994&coordinates=0%2C0%2C6%2C239&height=841" id="af9db" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="d24f250f38a21918f98c5824376ee2fd" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>To date, there is no vaccine and no specific antiviral medicine to prevent or treat COVID-2019. However, in order to keep it at a distance, do not indulge in self-medicating! Possible vaccines and some specific drug treatments are under investigation and are being tested through clinical trials.</p>
Don't forward messages without credibility<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE4NC9vcmlnaW4uanBnIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTY0ODA5Njc2Nn0.l0FVY6PPdngZpMn2mth_pvnBUEcQQ7RqdboUwO6nugg/img.jpg?width=980" id="3095a" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="ba4815c06ec7e341df8748dfb7766363" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>Sitting at home, may awaken the TED talker in you but it doesn't mean that you've gotta send out WhatsApp forwards and random information to people at all times. Just for the sake of being 'woke', do not dish out forwards and messages without checking its credibility and source. This might lead to further added confusions and anxiety; the two things we can do without right now!</p>
Most importantly, DON'T PANIC<img lazy-loadable="true" src="https://assets.rebelmouse.io/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpbWFnZSI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXNzZXRzLnJibC5tcy8yMjg4OTE4NS9vcmlnaW4ucG5nIiwiZXhwaXJlc19hdCI6MTYxMzc0MDI2NH0.UWGlUvAS1vYZPhSagKsgoCNGXex8gDLWwPoFlgz_DoA/img.png?width=980" id="80ca0" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="bb3897555fb82e9d792d80f8eda46dc0" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" /><p>COVID-19 has undoubtedly left the world in a state of panic and commotion but do remember to take note of the recoveries as well. Just the other day, there was a news of 103-year-old Iranian woman who made full recovery after being in hospital for a week! That has given us all hope, so let's just keep our fingers crossed for a better time soon.</p>

Lucknow and Delhi are two cities that have a great deal of railway traffic between them. Lakhs of people have come to Delhi from Lucknow in order to find work or pursue education. Which means that come festival time these very people travel back home to their families. Yet, during the same time, the rush and traffic makes it impossible to book train tickets making it hard for us to go back home during the festivities.
In order to make sure that people get easy and comfortable means of transportation back home, Indian Railway has launched several Holi special trains which can take you back home and save you from the rush as well.
What's the update?
