Most of us are fans of things and experiences that make us question the innate human values, the reason for our existence and other larger than life questions. Often times, these questions can tend to take a toll on a person, but they're fun to dwell upon anyway and result in you finding out or introspecting something new. If that's the sort of thing you're into, then head over to 'The Unknown' tomorrow, a play which focuses on all these aspects in an artistic way.
If you think you're not going to enjoy the show, pay a visit and you'll see your perspective change. The show is fast paced, interesting and manages to keep your attention till the very end. An adaptation of the book by the same name, the play touches upon various topics of human interactions, social relationships, sexual orientation and the bigger picture.
Up to the climax, you won't know what direction the play is going in. Strong character arcs and story development with powerful themes that keep a grip on the audience all make for some of the most memorable theatre moments you'll ever have.
The story itself is rather intriguing and the actors will do a fine job of telling you a story that makes you feel and question your own self. Surely, by now you've understood that this is not something for the faint minded. You've got to go in here with a steady head.
As for the actors, they're highly skilled and will put their best foot forward. Directed by R.S. Raghu and featuring Neel Kamal, Amanpreet Kaur, Renuka R.S., Shivain Vaidyalingam, it’s going to be a delight to watch these guys perform the act of their lives.
We're really excited to see what the show has in store for us and what questions it poses. Catch the play live at Akshara Theatre, Delhi on August 11, 2019.
