Patrolling for Delhi Police will become more convenient with the new GPS and the live-stream cameras installed in the cars.
So no more walkie talkie and bad connections, the new hi-tech patrolling system fixes all that was wrong with the outdated system of communication and replaces it with improved eyes and ears.
The modern and hi-tech system of surveillance involves live-stream camera with a sound enabled microphones installed inside Emergency Response Vehicles and Quick Response Team Vehicles.
The patrol vehicles will also be geo-fenced, which means that if a vehicle goes stationary for over an hour alerts will be sent to the control room. There is also a notification button for if and when a vehicle breaks down.
The system will also keep track of the total kilometers patrolled by the said vehicle.
With the recent case of police brutality, it has become prudent to keep a watch on the watch-men of the society. With the new surveillance system in place, it would become easy to keep an eye on the activities of policemen.
Not just that, the surveillance system will also ensure an alibi if someone tries to violate the laws and take undue advantage of an officer on duty.
Not just that, with the live-stream video camera, anything that misses the eye can be captured on tape and taken up later in the court of law.
The new hi-tech system will also ensure that back-up and help is sent as soon as possible, in case of an emergency or is the patrol vehicle breaks down.
