Delhi has always been a culinary hot spot, serving to the tastes and moods of people through its local and global grub options! Every nook and corner of the capital has an eatery for your hunger pangs and for the foodsplorers out here, it’s a field-day for them, every day.

On such an occasion, we chanced upon Gung The Palace which has an authentic Korean menu here at Delhi’s Green Park area and people looking for offbeat cuisines should be here! Although they have outlets in Noida and Gurugram as well, Gung The Palace serves the same quality and quantity everywhere, which speaks highly of their verity.

The Vibes!

As you step in, the aroma of the kitchen will trickle into your nostrils, making you drool instantly and your eyes will surely fall on the wall-of-fame the next instant. The walls are adorned with dozens of newspaper clippings and photographs of celebrities who’ve visited earlier. To add to the splendor, the ambience is warm, giving way to a relaxed hearty meal.

You’ll find traditional Korean motifs and patterns on the walls and the wooden work here makes it all the more cozier! The Korean trinkets add to the cultural milieu around and as soon as you get to the menu, you’ll know that this place ain’t for your ‘end of the month’ pockets.

For the Palate!

The quality and the quantity of food here is synonymous to stellar taste and wholesomeness. When here, go straight for The Donkkaseu Omeurice which is a huge omelette stuffed with sweet rice and it is topped with slices of fried pork cutlets! They even serve a sort of Japanese Worcestershire sauce to go along with it and you’ll be smitten at the first bite. The Beef Ribs, Stir-fried Octopus, Korean Wine, Soju and the epic Bibimbap, amidst other delicacies, stood out for us.
