In a recent development, it has been revealed that Diljit Dosanjh’s wax statue at Madame Tussauds, CP which was to be inaugurated on 28th February, has been delayed to a later date. Fans’ hopes to see the film star have been marred and the reschedule of the inauguration can be owed to the border tension with the neighbouring country.
Fans were eagerly awaiting the affair as it would have given them a chance to see the film star in the flesh. It was also going to be a momentous occasion for the star himself as getting one’s own wax statue at Madame Tussauds is no small feat. For the inauguration of the wax statue, the film star was to come to the national capital and unveil the wax statue at Connaught Place, Delhi.
As of now, no date of the reschedule has been announced. Since the statue was to be unveiled on 28 February, we can assume that the rescheduled date will be in the coming week. The line-up at Madame Tussauds is something of a star studded ensemble. The place is already home to the wax statues of stars such as Kapil Dev, Milkha Singh, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan, Shreya Ghoshal, Michael Jackson and many other renowned stars.
