South Indian food for us Northies usually means a crispy paper thin dosa with a masaledar filling, complemented by tangy chutneys and a bowl of warm sambar!

Of course there are other South Indian delicacies too but dosas are classics which are constantly under flavour makeovers and this time, Juggernaut at Kailash Colony, has taken it up a notch!

Anar Dosa

Juggernaut has been making the news for quite some time now and we just had to check it out! Of course, anar (pomegranate) filling in a dosa sounds weird AF, but we, the brave-heart epicureans took a leap of faith!

Turns out that the name of the dish DOES NOT give us a clue about the filling at all! We thought it'll be mashed anar and potatoes which would taste sweet-salty but this anar dosa is all about the preparation technique, the cone shape and size of it!

If you order this dish, they'll serve you a stack of 16 small cone-shaped dosas that are filled with a variety of mouth-watering fillings like paneer, aloo masala, anar and spinach corn, mushroom and so on! We cannot choose just one- each of these flavours, all of which are good enough to shake your palate up! Oh BTW, there's kesari halwa in the platter too which is bound to give a sweet ending to your culinary journey.

Pair this Instagrammy platter with a warm cup of their filter coffee and thank us later!

So what we're saying is-

Juggernaut is a actually a quintessential South Indian restaurant with hand-painted interiors, decorated with fresh flowers which takes care of the upscale aesthetics! The moment you enter here, you'll be greeted with strong cultural vibes and a chandan teeka on your forehead which is bound to set you in the mood for Southy deliciousness.

They also have a shop selling different types of teas, coffees, murukku sticks, banana chips, nariyal barfi and so on- all things stemming from the South are available here at economical prices to. So eat and shop with fam or bae here and it'll be worth every penny!
