Honestly, Delhi does dumplings like no other- be it at the streets or fine-dines, even this particular delicacy has fallen into the grips of new twists!
Some are #epicfails like the khoya dumplings and some, although different from the regular menu, have manged to sneak into our preferences! Along the lines of reinventing this dish on a new tangent, we chanced upon chocolate dumplings here in Hauz Khas and we’re fans already!
YETI- The Himalayan Kitchen here at HKV has introduced South Delhi to the wonders of Tibetan, Nepali and Bhutanese cuisines and how! This joint has been a staple whenever we’ve wanted to devour a hot bowl of thukpa with a side of momos, and their bowls of chilies and cheese is another one of our winter favourites.
Pushing aside these regular savouries, YETI has yet again surprised us with a kick-ass twist to the regular dumplings and chocolate connoisseurs are going absolutely craaayyy!
Stuffed heartily with molten dark chocolate and then doused in Nutella and served with a chocolate dip, Chocolate Dumplings are winning hearts. A main course and a dessert, relish these chubby chocolaty baos and your palate will be blown away. A plate of this dessert would you cost your pockets an amount of ₹325++ and given the uniqueness of this dish, it’s really worth every cent.
But if you ain’t into exploring with your plates, then you can maybe opt for the other crowd-pullers like the Mutton Momos, Aloo Momos, Jhol Momos and oh, you can’t skip out on the zesty Pork Lemon Fried and Sliced Pork with veggies! We’re also weak in the knees for their Khasi ko Ledo which is a spicy mutton dish and of course the Doh Nai is also one of our top picks.
Slake your thirst with their Yeti Special and Blushing Mojito and we’re sure you’d be looped in a matter of seconds, once it settles on your palate!
