Good news for frequent flyers, Indira Gandhi International Airport's Terminal 1 may be connected with Magenta Line with a subway with travelators (moving walkway) by July

Delhi Metro is known for its ease and accessibility; the lifeline of our country's capital has been lauded time and again for its efforts to make life simpler for people. In another of its wonderful move the metro corporation has decided to give frequent flyers and metro commuters a gift by introducing a subway to IGI Airport T1.

Delhi Metro:What's the update?

The subway will not only help commuters avoid the busy road and help them reach the airport a little faster it will also make the commute less cumbersome with its travelators. The Magenta Line metro is expected to be connected with the terminal 1 of the airport.

The Facts of Delhi Metro's Magenta Line Subway

The 400m long subway will connect the metro at both arrival and departure terminals of the airport, this will make sure that passenger can leave and enter the terminal directly from the metro. To facilitate an ease in the commute of passengers the subway will also be equipped with lifts and escalators.

The subway will make it easier for people with luggage to enter the airport without tiring themselves out or wasting precious time.

When will it complete?

The construction work has been reported to have reached completion and the subway is expected to be open for public sometime in July.

The completion of the subway will make travelling to the airport an exceptionally smooth affair, especially for those who choose metro as their preferred mean. Not just that, the subway will become the first in the country to have travelators (moving walkway)

The Uttar Pradesh government is currently aiming to achieve a one-trillion-dollar state economy by drafting a new export policy to encourage such an endeavor, backed by functional businesses in the state. The new policy will be chalked to increase the exports from the present 1.20 lakh crores to 3 lakh crores annually, by extending several incentives to the exporters in Uttar Pradesh. In order to ensure that the export targets are met, the Uttar Pradesh governement is planning to focus on sectors with high potential.

3 students from Indore have devised a UV disinfectant which works on edible items too

This UV disinfectant has already been tested and permitted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore.

The need of the hour today, is sanitization and cleanliness because that's the only possible way to combat this contagious virus. So keeping this in mind, three students from Indore, Vansh Boradia, Narayan Pharkya and Priyanshu Airen, have prepared an Ultraviolet (UV) disinfectant, that works even on edible items. This UV device is exclusive and is termed as better than others as it can sanitize edible items; a feature which is missing in the others. This UV disinfectant has already been tested and permitted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore, as stated by the pupils.

State Organ Tissue Transplant Organisation to come up at SGPGIMS in Lucknow

Along with government institutions, the Uttar Pradesh SOTTO will also bring private hospitals under its umbrella.

The UP government has decided to set up the State Organ Tissue Transplant Organisation (SOTTO), a state-level body that will advance the process of organ transplant like never before, in the capital city. According to Additional Chief Secretary, Medical Education, "SOTTO that will come up at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), aims to formalize the system of organ and tissue procurement and its distribution for transplantation." The ACS further added that the body would also work to train the required manpower and towards the promotion of cadaveric (deceased) organ and tissue donation, which will make it convenient for patients who are in need.
