Well, fret not, Viet:Nom, the new hip bar and dining that has popped up in Gurugram’s Cyber city will make you experience Vitnamese food and culture without having to visit the country at all. Coloured in natural hues of green, wood, beige and blue, Viet:Nom is all about the fresh cuisine from the place that never let up against America.

The interiors here are capturing, the walls painted with stunning mural of a rural scene in Vietnam, the hanging basket ceiling pendant light, all in all, the bar and diner is a place that you definitely need to visit.

The restaurant also has an outdoor seating area which will instantly put you in the mood with plants all around and all the blue.

Though it is not just the interiors that will beckon you, the food here is out of world. The menu at Viet:Nom is a combination of fresh ingredients and select sauces which make everything taste oh-so-delicious.

Do try the signature summer and spring rolls, papaya salad and seafood salad the fresh ingredients and the crisp taste is perfect for summer and would refresh you instantly.

When you visit the place you have to try the homemade pho here. The aromatic noodle soup made with fresh rice noodles, oodles of veggies, umami flavours, light chicken or veggie broth, various Vietnamese herbs, ginger, cinnamon and a plethora of other spices is perfect for every season and occasion.

Do try the mushroom gyoza, pork and Vietnamese herbs, chicken and chilli dimsums as well as the chicken wrapped in lettuce and crispy fish.

Chicken mango curry, lemongrass tenderloin crispy noodles with chicken or seafood and the turmeric fish are unmissable.

You can also pair a number of drinks with anything that you order as the bar and diner has an expansive bar that you really have to try out. The Saigon sour, nutty old fashioned, Hanoi ice ea, and cho chu mai tai are few of our favourites.

Driven by Lucknow boy Hemant Thakur, 'MOST' has distributed over 40,000 meals during this lockdown

The team has also helped thousands of migrants to register for special trains and sent them back home.

Since 2014, MOST has been functional in Lucknow and is run by city boy Hemant Thakur. It was founded with a vision to teach children hailing from underprivileged sections of the society. So when the country-wide lockdown was imposed, many of those pupils studying here reported that their parents who were mostly daily wagers, had lost sources of income and have been facing issues of various kinds. To minimise this crisis, Hemant took it upon his shoulders to reach out to people in need and his story has left us all inspired!
