After a gap of about twenty months, India is all set to resume international passenger air services from December 15, 2021, informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Friday. Additionally, as per the revised guidelines issued by the Union Health Ministry passengers need to submit 14 days travel details and upload a negative RT-PCR test report on Air Suvidha Portal before the journey. As per reports, the move comes under the banner of the Union's 'Promotion of Medical Devices Parks' and is pegged to reduce the cost of medical devices here, promoting independent and affordable health provision across all districts.

Central Railway to start 12 AC local trains on Mumbai's Harbour line from Dec 1

The new AC train services will operate between Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Panvel railway station

Starting Wednesday, 12 new air-conditioned suburban trains will be added to the existing local fleet of Central Railways on the Harbour line.
