Stand up comedian and the laugh riot- Alexander Babu is coming to town on 31st May for his “Alex in Wonderland” show and you shouldn’t miss it for the world.

As part of his ongoing India tour, 2019 the Tamilian comedian, Alexander Babu, is coming a far way from home, all the way to Delhi. But make no mistake, his comedic style is very relatable and manages to resonate within you no matter where you’re from.

The best part about his shows is that not only are they impeccable stand-up comedy acts, but they also blend in the power of music, making it a musical stand up comedy show- something that you’ve certainly never seen before. in fact, this happens to be one of the reasons as to why he is so famous- because of his unconventional style of delivering laughs.

Indore Municipal Corporation to upgrade its existing dry waste segregation system soon

With a secondary segregation unit to supplement the existing facility, Indore civic body will soon segregate dry waste into 35 different categories

Taking its cleanliness drive up by a notch, the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) is now planning to upgrade its existing waste segregation into 35 different categories. As of now, with the help of the automated Material Recovery Facility (MRF) set up at Devguradia trenching ground, the dry waste is segregated into 12 different categories. Reportedly, this facility was established at a cost of about ₹20 crores.

The state of Maharashtra on Thursday announced its decision of reopening schools for all students from class 1 onwards, starting December 1. From Wednesday, schools will be conducting regular, physical sessions for standards 1 to 7 for the first time in 19 months. With this, all school students in the state, except those in pre-primary and kindergarten grades will be permitted to attend school, under the authority of listed COVID guidelines and SOPs.

Noteworthily, the final decision regarding the reopening of schools in Mumbai will be taken by the BMC Commissioner. This decision will affect about 11 lakh students (from classes 1 to 7 ) in the city.

Passengers from South Africa to be put under quarantine at Mumbai Airport due to Omicron scare

Amid the rising concerns of the new COVID variant Omicron, the Union Health Ministry has directed to increase testing and screening of all international travellers. In continuation to this, a special set of airport guidelines have been put in place for those arriving from South Africa, the epicentre of the said mutation. Reportedly, such passengers will have to undergo testing and quarantine at the Mumbai International Airport. If found COVID positive, their samples will be sent for genome sequencing, the Mumbai Mayor informed.
