F.R.I.E.N.D.S is a classic in all ways and forms. The 90’s show is universally loved and if you tell me that you’re not a fan, I will refuse to believe it. Period. The show and its timeless characters have made their way into our hearts and our lives and we’d forever be grateful to the purple door and that framed spyhole, for changing our lives. If you too are a fan of the timeless classic, head to Akshara Theatre in CP to enjoy an open air screening of our favourite show.

Every college going student can swear by FRIENDS. The bromance between Joey and Chandler, the obsessions of Monica, weirdness of Phoebe, on again-off again drama of Ross and Rachel was our only source of happiness. For so long, FRIENDS has managed to make us smile and help us understand what real friendship should look like.

Who can forget laughing through their tears when Monica went down on her knees and said: “there’s a reason why women don’t do this”, or cringe laughing when Candice yelled in her nasaly baritone “Fourteeeen. Yemen Streeet. Yemen”.

*Don’t tell me you didn’t read that with Candice voice in your head*

FRIENDS has rescued us from hells of boredom and clutches of sadness and we can never-ever get enough of the show. So if you tell us that a screening of our favourite show is taking place, there’s no chance in hell that we won’t attend it!

The screening will happen over the weekend- 12 to 14 April (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and you can not only watch the re-run of your favourite TV show, but also indulge in loads of food and drinks. The theatre has also arranged for a photo booth where you can capture these memories and play with a number of props. Also, you would be provided with headphones for an elevated experience.

So, grab your friends and head on over to make your own episode: The One With The Open Air Screening.
