When we speak of Goan food, the first thing that comes into our minds is seafood and tropical delicacies. People associate Goan food with non-vegetarian grub and that is often not the only thing that you’ll find in the state. With the prominent new age awakening and food consciousness in the state, Goa has a number of vegetarian and vegan places that comprise a major chunk of the mainstream food scene in the state.
One such place carrying the baton of conscious eating and vegetarianism is Bean Me Up at Vagator Beach and the grub here is a woke vegetarian’s dream realised.

The wooden furniture, the outdoor seating and the plants add an extremely earthy and natural vibe to the place. Which incidentally, goes perfectly with the theme of the place- organic and close to nature.
The openness and the vibe is what makes this place a must visit, especially for those who want to live life consciously while celebrating nature.

Established with a focus on well being, good eating habits and food that serves as fuel for the soul, Bean Me Up serves a selection of delicious, organic, fresh and vegan dishes. The place also serves locally sourced seasonal fruits and veggies which make for grub that is as delicious as it is healthy.
They offer a variety of salads and a selection of home made sauces and dressing that’ll leave you spoilt for choice. The restaurant even makes its own tofu and when paired with the locally sourced ingredients make for a salad of our dreams.
The breakfast options are few of our favourites and we can never have enough of the gluten free buckwheat pancakes. The chia berry and acai smoothy bowl is another crowd favourite that you absolutely have to try.
