Monsoon is about to end and the weather has been pretty pleasant lately. Which means that we can once again head to our favourite places in town and dine out in the open. If you've been planning to make most of the weather, a date with that special someone will be the best way to enjoy the fresh air and make most of any evening.

With the sky as your ceiling, fairy lights and twinkling stars above your head complemented by green plants all around to give a natural calming vibe, The Little Door serves as the perfect monsoon date spot.

White furniture, blue check doors and pretty outdoor seating

If there's a place that justifies the phrase 'picture perfect', it is this one. The little blue door on the wall, the use of white as well as the open floor-plan gives the cafe a distinct European feel and it is as Instagram worthy as can be!

Sit outside in the open, breathe in all the fresh air you want and let all the green here whisk you away to an entirely different realm. Plus, if you're looking for something more happening, you can step inside enjoy the great music, the live performance and the electric vibe of the place.

Food for the soul

The Little Door isn't just a pretty place, the European style restaurant and bar serves great grub too!

The place is known for its craft cocktails, thin crust pizza, risotto and the creamy-delicious cheesecake, all of which are a 'must-try'. If that isn’t enough, you can also find pretty great finger food here. The 'tablas' or the table section has great mix of breads and dips from the European as well as Mediterranean cuisine and we enjoy them all.

The chickewers, or fried crispy chicken skewers served with Portuguese hot sauce are also a must try. You have to try the patatas, panzarotti and 'the kebab'.

If you're fond of sea-food, their pre-plated mains are a must try!

Knock Knock

When it comes to great food Mumbai has numerous places where you can find great grub. Yet, for a chill experience with good food as well as a great vibe, The Little Door is an ideal place. Plus, the menu is pretty reasonable so you won't have to be paying in gold to dine here.
