Knocksense: A local content and recommendations platform

The pitter patter of rain is among the best and the most happy sounds out there. With the monsoon season upon us, the romantic bug is going to bite everyone and we cannot deny, something about the rain makes us go super filmy. Though, we are not yet ready to dance on the busy Mumbai streets, what we can do to express our joy is go out for a date with BAE and pamper them with all the love that we can muster.

So if you are looking for that one spot to take BAE to, we've got you covered. Head to 'Veranda' in Pali Hill, and enjoy a romantic date with the one and only.

Veranda is known for its cozy interior, artistic decor and an overall vibrant vibe. The art pieces adorning the walls, the furniture the dome shaped ceiling and the fine dining setting, we love it all and can just imagine how beautifully a date would pan out.

The vibe here is fantastic and we cannot deny the overall charm the place has. Plus the food here is quite experimental and delicious, we would totally recommend trying the vast food selection if you and the special someone shares are epicures at heart.

Though, Veranda is known for all the experiments and innovation it bring to the vegetarian food and the cuisine altogether, the non-vegetarian selection here is quite amazing as well. We would recommend trying the sabz gaudy which are gallets of mushroom-spinach-beetroot-served with tomato chutney, mango pickle, and shimeji mushrooms, also in the recommendation list is celebrity ghee roast- ghee roasted baby potatoes with gunpowder chutney, Abraca-Pesto tikka in paneer and chicken roasted in tandoor and marinated with basil-walnut pesto.

For those who cannot think of a meal without the necessary animal protein we would recommend the Quickgun Murg-gun, Ranjnikanth prawns, Pork van-doug- pork belly braced in spicy vindaloo, Varanda's crab cakes, butter chicken ravioli, lamb hoi-sinned, ghosht of rogan's past and Alleppey prawn curry.

To round off the meal, we would recommend you try the masala cutting tikka, gulkand choco bar. You can also try the expansive bar menu which would be quite an addition to any dinner date or if you're going for lunch a glass of wine never hurt anyone!
