Knocksense: A local content and recommendations platform

College fests are something every student looks forward to- from the nerds to the back-benchers. They act as a great platform for the students to showcase their talent. RamComm, the commerce society of Ramanujan College, is bringing a Youth Conclave Delhi and the city is all agog with their fest being round the corner. It promises an extravagant affair with many activities for you to partake in.

The youth conclave aims at empowering the youth, giving them a voice and exposing them to the ideas of famous intellectuals, speakers and thinkers from around the country. With this in mind, Comdezvous ‘19 has some great events and talk shows lined for the young adults.

Some of the main events in the college fest will be the ‘Trade-e-thon’ where you have to prove your bidding mettle. At the event, you have to place your bets and bid in a mockstock environment, which is a stock market emulation. You will have to strategize and thoroughly think about how you want to place place your bets in order to stand a winning chance. In case you want to win, you can register here.

The other main event on the show will be the Netflix film- Birdbox inspired obstacle course. If you’ve seen the film, you can already gather what the event will be about. For the uninitiated, participants will have to navigate through an obstacle course and make it into a safe haven, all while being blindfolded. Think you’re up to the challenge? Both these fun events will take place on February 28 and you can even win up to ₹10,000 by finishing first in each of the events.

The youth conclave will feature though provoking speakers such as Saurabh Jain, Vice President of Paytm, Innolabz founder and CEO, Saurabh Chaturvedi and Juhi Garg founder and CEO of ED Times. Apart from that, they’ve got some journalists, actors and singers to make you think along uncharted lines. Speakers and journalists such as Abhay Dubey, Sayeed Ansari and Onkar Khullar aka Digital Gandhi will be gracing the event.

Mumbai's Sion Flyover to remain shut on weekends till January 9, 2022 due to repair work

The Mumbai Traffic Police on Friday announced that the Sion flyover will remain closed every weekend, for the next three months, due to the repair work undertaken by the Maharashtra State Roads Development Corporation (MSRDC). The vehicle shutdown here will be clocked from 10 PM on Saturday to 6 AM on Monday, till January 9, 2022. Amusement parks in Maharashtra to open for visitors from Oct 22nd

Newly launched e-buses to connect Lucknow to nearby rural areas from October 25

The fares for the e-buses will range from ₹5 for 3 km to ₹37 for more than 25 km

The newly launched electric buses in the city will ply on a new route, connecting Lucknow to the rural areas around, starting October 25. This will be the first time that such a service will be deployed in these areas, wherein commuters will be able to travel to and from the city, in the comfort of new state-of-the-art e-buses.
