All about Tejas Express

The hi-tech train’s coaches will soon be coming to Lucknow. The train will run daily between Lucknow and Anand Vihar terminal in New Delhi. It is expected to begin in August and the coaches currently have arrived in Delhi from Punjab.

The Tejas Express is painted in saffron and yellow and has a detailed design on the surface. It has LCD screens on all seats for entertainment along with WiFi and audio entertainment units. You will also find proper mineral water units in the train. Each berth has a charging point and seat headlamp for reading.

Tejas has all the facilities to offer the passengers a comfortable journey, and the best part is that it is going to run daily. All the 24 coaches of the train will have CCTV cameras, fire and smoke detection systems and bio-toilets too!

It will be the second route after Mumbai-Goa, where Tejas train will be running in India. The train, which was announced in 2016-17 railway budget was in news a couple of months ago when passengers had broken the LCD screens and had taken away the headphones thus showing a bad behaviour towards India’s fastest train.
