The Khajrana Ganesh Temple, which has an iconic idol of Lord Ganesha gilded in silver, experiences a heavy footfall of pilgrims and tourists alike, most of which have to depend on the unreliable and quite expensive private hotels for their stay in the city. The dharamshala will be a relief not just in the sense that it will be cost saving but would be a great option for those who want a room for only a few hours to rest and then be on their way.

It is also notable that the main gate of the dharamshala is being made with a huge investment of 4 crores.

The main-gate is reported to be 11-meters tall, while the dharamshala complex itself is said to be six storey high.

Along with the construction of Dharamshala, the authorities will also fix a leaky temple roof, construct a shed for devotees near the prasad pandals and decorate the temple in dynamic lights.

So the next time you visit the Khajrana Ganesh temple, you'll be in for a proper treat.
