Madhya Pradesh is known for the stunning temples and architecture it houses. Indore which is known as the financial capital of MP is no less, the city houses some of the most stunning temple complexes we've laid eyes on. People from all over the country come to the city to visit the temples and bask in the calm serenity it provides.
In a welcome news for all tourists who visit Indore to specifically have a glimpse of the Khajrana Ganesh temple, authorities have decided to build a Dharamshala complete with an enormous main gate and 88 rooms.
The Khajrana Ganesh Temple, which has an iconic idol of Lord Ganesha gilded in silver, experiences a heavy footfall of pilgrims and tourists alike, most of which have to depend on the unreliable and quite expensive private hotels for their stay in the city. The dharamshala will be a relief not just in the sense that it will be cost saving but would be a great option for those who want a room for only a few hours to rest and then be on their way.
It is also notable that the main gate of the dharamshala is being made with a huge investment of 4 crores.
The main-gate is reported to be 11-meters tall, while the dharamshala complex itself is said to be six storey high.
Along with the construction of Dharamshala, the authorities will also fix a leaky temple roof, construct a shed for devotees near the prasad pandals and decorate the temple in dynamic lights.
So the next time you visit the Khajrana Ganesh temple, you'll be in for a proper treat.
