Utilizing the open spaces between station platforms, the authorities plan to unfurl a whole lot of new additions that will add to the look and feel of the railway station. For starters, there's a new water fountain that you won't miss and we can safely say that it certainly lends a new look to the station.

Around the fountain, the goal is to develop a small garden flush with a variety of flora. The fountain has already been built but the garden is underway and once it's complete, it will give the station a more lively feel. Both, the fountain and garden will come up along platform 3 and 4, adjacent to the VIP entrance of the station.

Apart from just beautifying the entire railway station, the authorities also have plans to make the station cleaner than ever before. Essentially, this is being done following the second time that the city won the award for the cleanest city. The authorities aim to continue this tradition and not only that, they also wish to make the station a much better and cleaner one. It is vital for tourists to get a good first impression of the railway station so that they are drawn to explore more of the city.

The authorities have also been working on other methods to retain tourists- including the renovation and overhaul of several existing sites and turning Bilawali lake into a water sports hub. At any rate, all these aesthetic changes to Indore are not just for tourists, but will also give Indoris a new outlook on the city.
