After a long tryst with the second wave of the pandemic, amplified unlocking interventions are being worked out in Indore. As per reports, hotels, restaurants, malls, religious institutions and other places shall be reopened today while the educational centres shall remain closed. The city is being unlocked after a meeting of the disaster management committee, where the officials took this decision in view of the plummeting case tallies.
20 people allowed for weddings; 10 at funerals

As per reports, the district administration approved the unlocking proposal and now, usual business is being revived across the city. While hotels and restaurants are allowed to open till 6 PM, takeaway and delivery services can be operational till 10:30 PM. Besides, malls can be resumed for visitors but the play zones, food zones and cinema halls will remain closed. Reportedly, if anyone is found eating anything within the 100-metre radius of 56 Dukaan, he/she shall have to bear a fine of ₹500.
As per the announced guidelines, not more than 4 people will be allowed within a place of worship at a time. While marriage functions are allowed with 20 individuals, funerals would be conducted in the presence of not more than 10 people. As per reports, regional SDM will have to be informed about the wedding guest list but the rules do entail the need for special permission.
Weekend curfew & night curfew to remain functional

It has stated that cars/taxis/autos will carry only 3 passengers at a time. In a bid to prevent crowding, all political and religious functions, protests, demonstrations and fairs have been banned. While students are not allowed in the school, the administrative and other offices within the campus can operate. Further, reports state that the offices can operate with 50% employees and 100% authorities.
It has been reported that the city residents will observe a weekend curfew on Sunday and only medical services will be permitted on that day. Additionally, a night curfew from 11 PM to 6 AM will be imposed every day.
