Following the announcement of animal exchange programs by the Indore Zoo, the most recent consignment of African Zebras has arrived in the city. This pair of African Zebras, exchanged under the program with Jamnagar Zoo, reached Indore’s Kamla Nehru Prani Sanghralaya this Wednesday. The striped animals were exchanged for white tigers. With this consignment, Indore Zoo has become the first in the state to house African Zebras.

Additionally, visitors, including photographers and wildlife enthusiasts, have been flocking to the zoo from today onwards to catch a glimpse of these magnificent creatures. The zoo has further proposals lined up for bringing in more animals such as lions, tigers, jackals, among others, which have already been initiated.
