Read this article for IPL match 24- MI vs KXIP game analysis, MI vs KXIP Dream 11 team prediction, match summary, MI vs KXIP probable XI and more.

Of late, everyone seems to be keeping up with the latest sporting tournament, the IPL and this is your one stop for all the info on the upcoming match and the top picks for the IPL fantasy league.

Having won their last three games at home, Kings XI Punjab will now head to the iconic Wankhede Stadium to take on Mumbai Indians in what is expected to be a mammoth clash in the Indian Premier League. With the league closing in on the middle stage, each team will now look to grab the advantage and surge forward.

MI vs KXIP: Rohit Sharma injured

Update: Mumbai Indians skipper, Rohit Sharma has been injured in a training session for the upcoming match. According to reports, he seems to have suffered from a muscle pull in his leg. Though the seriousness of the injury has not been officially announced, this comes as sad news from not only MI fans, but fans of the Indian team as well. It could potentially ruin his chances of playing in the upcoming ICC world cup, which is a major disadvantage to the team.

MI vs KXIP: Top teams pitted against one another

Playing at home, it will obviously be an advantage for Mumbai as they know the ground conditions well. But the boys need to fire in unison against a quality KXIP outfit and skipper Rohit Sharma will look to lead by example. Having failed to put on a quality show so far in this edition of the cash-rich league, Rohit would be looking to use this opportunity to strike some form. The rest of the squad has fired in patches and fans expect them to perform well this time around.

For Punjab, it has been a rather slow sort of display from the batsmen. While it cannot be denied that they have played their last two games on conditions that weren't best for batting - in Chennai and Mohali - the wicket in Wankhede should aide stroke play and considering the form that the likes of K.L. Rahul and Mayank Agarwal are in, they would be waiting to put on their pads and take strike.

Both teams have defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last games. While MI thrashed SRH by 40 runs, KXIP won by six wickets. All in all, it should be a good contest between two equally strong units looking to keep the winning momentum going.

MI vs KXIP: Dream 11 Top 6 picks

From the home team, Mumbai Indians, have a great batting lineup. Picking Rohit Sharma and Krunal Pandya are obvious picks, but from the bowling side, you can no longer pick Lasith Malinga. Instead of him, picking Jasprit Bumrah would be an equally viable option. The player has shown consistency in the game and is regarded as a great bowler by national and international standards.

KXIP, has a lot of batting fire power and you should definitely opt for two of their batsmen, namely- Chris Gayle, and Lokesh Rahul, both of whom have led their team to victory on more than one count. They have performed well over the past few games and we expect big things from them this time too. From the bowling side, pick captain of the team, Ravichandran Ashwin, who is a leading wicket taker

Our top 6 picks: From MI, pick Rohit Sharma, Krunal Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah, while from KXIP Chris Gayle, Lokesh Rahul and Ravichandran Ashwin would be wise choices.
