The state of Rajasthan on Saturday approved to implement the ‘Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Scheme’ as a major economical aid for the financially deprived students across Jaipur and other districts. This provision extends monetary grants to all students involved in the preparation of various professional courses as well as competitive exams. The rationale behind this scheme is to ensure a fair chance to a bright future among all students, independent of the financial restraints and worries.
CM Anuprati Coaching Scheme to grant 1-year benefits to beneficiaries
The Chief Minister Anuprati Coaching Scheme will operate an umbrella scheme for all students, even covering the scope of medical and technical entrance examinations that are presently provisioned by run by the Tribal Development Department. Run by the Social Justice- Empowerment Department and Minority Affairs, this scheme will extend one-year benefits to all financially weak students.
It may be noted that the old schemes will continue to cover the educational load for students who have already begun coaching. Similarly, these will also continue if work orders are given for the same. Relevant guidelines have been issued in this regard and otherwise, by the state Financial Department after the approval of the Chief Minister.
Pupils who belong to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBCs), and other economically weaker sections can avail this welfare opportunity. Besides this, students whose annual familial income is less than eight lakhs can also apply for financial aid under the CM Anuprati Coaching Scheme. Candidates whose parents are recovering a salary up to Pay Matrix Level-11 as State Government Personnel too, fall in the eligible categories.
Students will be selected for the scheme benefits on the basis of 12th or 10th class examinations. Concerned departments have been tasked to ensure coaching arrangement via selected institutes for these merit students, to meet the district-wise targets. Efforts will also be undertaken to ensure that about 50% of beneficiaries under this aid are girls.
