Zero fresh COVID-19 cases reported in Jaipur in the last 24 hours

Jaipur nurses only 30 active cases of coronavirus now.

For the first time since the beginning of September, Jaipur reported zero fresh COVID-19 cases on Sunday. This ushers a much-needed pandemic relief for the district, which was yielding the Rajasthan's highest share of fresh cases, every day. The coronavirus active load is presently limited to only 30 patients in Jaipur, marking a significant healing trend here.


Jaipur reports 4 recoveries on Sunday

Jaipur's daily COVID tally and toll were restricted to the zero count in the last 24 hours. Besides, the 4 recoveries here diminished the active load, harnessing an important recovery feat for the district. With this, Jaipur has logged in 1,85,713 COVID recoveries since the outbreak of the pandemic. Incidentally, this is the highest number of recoveries furnished by any district in Rajasthan.

At the state level, only 6 fresh COVID-19 cases were reported in Rajasthan, in the last 24 hours. Besides Sawai Madhopur (2), Ajmer (1), Alwar(1), Barmer (1) and Udaipur(1), no other district recorded COVID rise on Sunday.

While this raises the total case tally to 9,54,190 in the desert state, there are around 89 active cases spread across only 18 districts. As such, there are around 19 regions in Rajasthan that do not shoulder even a single coronavirus case as of now.

Kanpur Traffic Police announces road diversions at Mall Road in line with metro development work

Traffic will be regulated on the diverted route from 4 PM on Saturday to 6 AM on Monday.

The Kanpur Traffic Police Department has announced its road diversion plan to ensure glitch-free commute in the city during the course of metro development work. Reportedly, the Kanpur Metro Rail Corporation has decided to set up a cross-arm intersection at the Motijheel Station of the Priority Corridor. This ongoing construction work will stretch till 6 AM on September 27 and all vehicles passing through this site will be redirected.

UP to soon get a new 200-acre-wide data centre park

The new data centre will come up in Noida's Sector-28

In a bid to cultivate Uttar Pradesh's commercial landscape, the state administration has planned to develop data centre park in Noida. This structure will reportedly spread over 200 acres of land at Sector 28 of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority and attract investments from IT industry giants in India and abroad. The plan is expected to roll out by the end of August.
