Purportedly, 150 out of the 200 seats have been dedicated to Humanities, Social Science, Agriculture and Forest Science, Nature and Environmental Science and Law. Additionally, 25 seats have been allotted for students willing to study Management and Business Administration and Economics and Finance.
Apart from this, 25 seats have been assigned to those interested in studying Pure Science and Public Health. In case of vacant slots in these streams, 15 seats might be issued to students opting for Engineering and Related Sciences and Medicine and Applied Sciences.
With this initiative, the state government aims to inspire and motivate young students for dreaming big and striving towards those aspirations. Besides, it is expected that the scheme will advantage those financially deprived students whose academic journeys are otherwise hampered by economic restraints.
