The Pink Zebra by Feast India Company
is a vivid melange of bubblegum pink and Art Nouveau glitz spread over two floors, channeling Wes Anderson’s realism aesthetics of bold colour palettes and symmetry.
The 4,000 sq. ft. space is built in one of the oldest buildings of Kanpur and it features a restro-bar, punctuated with bold black lines, retro-hippie vibes and a partially sunlit terrace manifests the stripes into a zebraish ambiance! This locale has also got this retro concierge desk, flattered by a gold-gilded bar that is no less than a replica of the Grand Budapest Hotel!

So why is this place dipped in pink? It is because pink was the colour of public buildings in the city of ‘Cawnpore’ during the British Raj Period. These buildings are still present within the city’s fabric and it all makes up for the kitschy-chic combination here.
