Given the escalating numbers of COVID-19 cases, all schools in Kanpur including Kendriya Vidyalaya have shifted to online classes for students of grades 1 to 12, once again. In order to facilitate better execution of virtual classrooms, the principal and teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya shall use Google’s G-Suite technology now. With the deployment of this measure, no external student will be able to enter an ongoing class on the online platform.
70% of students from Kendriya Vidyalaya want online classes
The authorities at Kendriya Vidyalaya had issued orders for the implementation of this new technology a few days ago. All schools for students of standards 1 to 12 have been closed in the city till April 30. While the physical classes were suspended for pupils till grade 8 initially, all students are taking online classes now.
As per reports, 70% of students studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya want online classes. When offline school was initiated, a small count of students flocked to the campus. Taking note of this, the school officials understood that the students were wary of the COVID situation and did not wish to attend offline classes.
