India’s most loved beer brand BIRA 91 is bringing back the epic April Fool Fest to liven up our average AF life! Happening on 30-31st March, the second edition of April Fool Fest is BIRA’s way of welcoming the playful month of April.

April Fool’s Day is known for the stupid and most of the time extremely weak pranks we pull on our friends and family. In order to bring a little laughter into our otherwise stressed life, the 1st of April becomes a hall pass for all sorts of mischieves and foolhardy.

But, this April 1st you’ll be too exhausted to even care. The BIRA 91 Fool Fest will be a mix of a number entertaining performances, good food, music, comedy that tickles your bones and a free flow of BIRA beer!

The two day event will have musical performances by Gully Boy Naezy, Rajakumari, DJ Mocity, Monika Dongra, Delhi’s own rapper Prabh Deep and the hip-hop queen DJ Ishani and several others.

The comical line-up will include an “Improv Dream Team” featuring Kaneez Surka, Naveen Richard, Rahul Subramanian, Aadar Malik and Rohan Joshi. It will also have performances from Comicstaan fame Prashasti Singh, Aishwarya Mohanraj, Nishant Suri and Rahul Dua. Also featuring a power packed performance by Kunal Kamra.

Not only that, you can also witness amazing street art as young artists take over columns at the April Fool Fest 2019 to deliver some of the finest piece of art.

The AFF 2019 will also feature a special “Kommune Hour” where your favorite artists will get candid and share anecdotes and stories from their lives that will shed some light on their lives and tickle your funnybones. You can expect to hear some embarrassing stories and fun incidents.

You can also enjoy the “Immersive Theatre” where you can catch the theatre artists and their cricket inspired props and installations.

To top it all off, remember you have a free flow of BIRA beer and great food to accompany all the fun happenings!

Application process for getting new electricity connections to be eased in Uttar Pradesh!

A move to save the time, energy & funds of the applicants

In a bid to ease the process for the state residents, Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited has tweaked the services of the 'Jhatpat Connection' portal to make it consumer-friendly. In case errors or discrepancies are noticed in the application form, the concerned officials will not be allowed to cancel the registration. Instead, they will notify on the portal itself and the applicant will make the corrections and alterations so that the process moves further.

Discom grants ₹2.50 crore power bill rebate in Indore

Discom has slashed an amount off around 1.25 lakh electricity bills generated by smart meters.

Ushering an economic respite for non-domestic consumers in Indore and nearby regions, the Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Compay Ltd has initiated ₹2.50 crore power factor incentives. According to Discom officials, rebates have been granted to around 1.25 lakh power bills, that were equipped with smart meters. These electricity connections are mostly used by commercial establishments and industries.

The East-West Greenfield project will stretch across a 701-km long route between Mumbai and Nagpur

The Mumbai Nagpur Super Communication Expressway project is being developed as the fastest highway in the country, as per a statement by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC). The 701-km-long east to west corridor is expected to reduce travel time by at least 8 hours between the source and destination.
