Lucknow is fast becoming Bollywood’s favourite backdrop to run several big-banner productions and now, the latest addition to this list is actress Swara Bhaskar’s new venture, Jahaan Chaar Yaar. The film has commenced pivotal shooting here on Friday and Swara treated her fans by sharing the stills from the first-day shoot on Instagram. Jahan Chaar Yaar also features Shikha Talsania, Meher Vij and Pooja Chopra alongside Swara and they would be joining the shoot, shortly.
Besides Lucknow, a major part of the film will be shot in Goa
Actress Swara Bhaskar shared behind-the-scenes-frames of her upcoming movie, Jahan Char Yaar in Lucknow on Instagram, sharing how this shoot has a ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ connection. Swara wrote, “SO happy to be working with @vinodbachchan Sir again after 11 years of shooting #TanuWedsManu. Co-incidentally in the same city! Started shooting for #JahaanChaarYaar in Lucknow today. Directed by @kamalpandey723 Presented by @soundrya.production,”.
She also tagged producer Vinod Bachchan to the post and added “Here’s a glimpse from the first day of the shoot. Can’t wait for @shikhatalsania @mehervij786 @poojachopraofficial to join @jahaanchaaryaar shoot!”
The screenplay of the movie depicts a tale of friendship, challenged by engaging twists and turns. The plot thickens when four parallel characters who are stuck in the traps of monotony find a getaway to Goa. This is where their lives take a thrilling turn, much like a roller coaster they never bargained for.
Consequently, a major part of the movie will be shot in Goa. The film marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Kamal Pandey, who has previously penned films such as Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, Shagird and Shakti: The Power.
