Sunder Bakery

Opened in 1990, Sunder Bakery soon became popular for its mouth-watering delicacies. The bakery serves an assortment of pure-vegetarian treats like cakes, pastries, cookies, snacks, mousse, puddings, cheesecakes and so much more. Winning over a large number of customers since its establishment, the bakers have managed to acquire the loyalty of the people residing in and around Indira Nagar.

Bakery No. 1

Having served Lucknowites for over 130 years now, Bakery No. 1 opens only during the Christmas season in the Sadar area. Mohammed Kaleem, the owner of this bakery and the fourth-generation baker in his family, is known for his sumptuous Christmas cakes and other goodies. Kaleem's father, Bulei Mistari learned the knacks of baking from the Britishers and passed on the skills to his sons, making a 12-year old Kaleem the youngest baker of his family!

In contemporary times, this store witnesses flocks of patrons, who head to this shop for getting a taste of traditional delicacies. With a history running over decades, Bakery No. 1 has become a part of the city's heritage.

New Gupta Bakers

Catering to your sweet tooth, New Gupta Bakers in Aminabad Lucknow is known to be one of the best bakeries in the city, with an array of scrumptious bakery products and desserts. Famed for their exclusive designer cakes and collection of bespoke designs, the bakers target a gamut of flavours that never fail to tantalize one's taste buds!

The inception of this store holds an interesting story too. Previously, it was known as the 'Crown Bakery' in British Lahore but when the originators moved to Lucknow after partition, they renamed their shop. They reinvented two new stores- 'Gupta Bakery' and 'New Gupta Bakers' in 1988.

After migrating from Sindh to Lucknow due to partition, Mr. G.M Ahuja faced many hardships before he opened his first venture called 'Green Bakery' in 1958. Hit hard by fate, Ahuja encountered helplessness as the floods of 1960 ruined all his efforts. With great courage and faith, he decided to launch another bakery, giving birth to Good Bakery in Nishatganj, in 1963.

Within no time, this establishment became the talk of the town. Gradually, the patisserie developed to be a full-fledged store with its branches coming up in different parts of the town. Known for its exclusive kinds of bread, cakes, cookies, pizzas and sandwiches, this bakery is nothing short of a bundle of joy for the city!

Brijwasi Bakery

Starting out with a small outlet in Alambagh Lucknow in 1976, Brijwasi Bakery is deemed to be one of the oldest bakeries in town. They now have ten outlets spread across Lucknow besides 'Brijwasi Lawns & Banquets' which hosts weddings, celebrations and the like!

They initially started their journey with some delectable cookies, cakes and bread and later broadened their horizon to dry cakes, pizzas, sandwiches and much more. Today, the bakery boasts of an excellent catering service and online ordering facility, as well.

New flights to ease connectivity from Indore to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi & Hyderabad from October 31

These flights are part of the winter schedule approved by the DGCA

As per the new winter flight schedule approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, 25 new flight services will be started to ease connectivity from Indore to Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. The daily flight movement between Indore and Delhi is set to increase with the induction of 16 new flights on this route. 10 new flights on both Indore-Ahmedabad and Indore-Mumbai routes along with at least 8 other services between Indore- Hyderabad, will also be functional from October 31.
