Book enthusiasts of Lucknow, assemble! Gear up to witness a massive book fair, taking place in all glory, at the city’s grand Phoenix Palassio. Ongoing till January 14, Book Chor, in association with Lock The Box, has set up the ideal paradise for book lovers and you’re being summoned!
Welcome to the wonderland, with a cornucopia of reads to enhance your new year, and choose from three boxes to pick up books — a specialty of Lock The Box!
Think out of the ‘box’ and loose yourself at a reader’s paradise
Select from three categories – you guys can pick up one of three boxes — small, medium, and large (or named on Greek mythological figures — Odysseus, Perseus, Hercules, respectively) — and fill the box up to the brim. The ‘Odysseus’ Box lets you garner 10-12 books, with The ‘Perseus’ Box, you can pick up 17-20 books and finally, The ‘Hercules’ Box can store 28-30 books. Pay at once, fill your boxes of joy and voila! You’ve just experienced some happy hormones at a successful book-haul-turned-shopping-spree!
From buying (and selling) second-hand and new books in bulk, to breathing in almost a million books showcased in galore here, this book exhibition is worth a visit! Head to the mall and loose yourselves at a grand book-land!
