Amid the rising fear of the Omicron variant of COVID-19, 5 new cases of Covid-19 (Older variants) have gripped Lucknow. This new tally includes three cases from the same household and a single independent case from Vibhuti Khand which record an inter-state travel history. Notably, one more case was detected in Indira Nagar. All patients are under home isolation and being monitored through the COVID Command Centre, added reports.

PWD to widen & repair road leading to Chandrika Devi Temple from Sitapur Road in Lucknow!

Public Work Department will partner up with district administration and police department to conduct an anti-encroachment drive on this route as well

Soon the residents of Lucknow will be able to travel to Chandrika Devi Temple with ease, as the road leading to the temple will be widened and repaired by the administration soon. In an effort to facilitate easier and smoother traffic movement, the Public Work Department will undertake repair work on the road leading to Chandrika Devi Temple from Sitapur Road. Apart from the repair work, the authorities will also widen the 11.45 kilometre long road as well. According to the reports available at present, the work on this project is expected to start this month.
