The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow is all set to kickstart its Annual Management Fest, Manfest-Varchasva from February 19. Carrying over the legacy of 36 years, the biggest business, cultural and sports festival at IIM Lucknow is making a virtual comeback this year. The two-day fest will be packed with some great performances and events, the highlight of which will be a start-up funding contest, that’ll be judged by popular VC investors.

This two-day affair at IIM Lucknow will include a host of events and workshops across multiple domains like cultural programs, entertainment events, IIM Model United Nations and other management programs. Notably, this year’s festival has more than 40 events lined up in categories like management, dance, singing, theatre, literature, and fashion, among others.
Being organised as a part of the CSR movement, the fest will be initiated with a campus run by IIM Lucknow students. Notably, this year’s fest will focus on standing together against COVID for a better future. However, the major highlight of this year’s Manfest-Varchasva is the startup funding challenge. As a part of this challenge, budding entrepreneurs will get a chance to bag funding from eminent VC investors from a pool of ₹5 crores.

As a part of the flagship event in the Icons Series- Leader’s Express, some well-known names from the industry will speak at Manfest-Varchasva 2021-22. The notable list of speakers includes names like Dr. Philip Kotler-The Father of Modern Marketing, Kris Gopalakrishnan- the Co-founder and Ex-CEO of Infosys and Mr. Abhayanand- IPS officer and co-founder of Super 30 concept among others.
This leadership talk series will also include Social Conclave and Women’s Leadership Conclave. The students will get a chance to create a dialogue with industry stalwarts on important factors and issues faced by society, especially in business.

While Stand-up comedian Gaurav Kapoor is going to set the stage on fire on February 19, the event will be concluded on Feb 20 with Music Maestro Javed Ali’s performance.
