Knocksense Shorts | On World Fisheries Day, UP to be awarded as the best state in Inland Pisciculture
Uttar Pradesh has been chosen as the best Indian state in Inland Pisciculture. The state will be awarded by the Union Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairies on World Fisheries Day, i.e., November 21.
It is noteworthy that UP is not willing to rest on its laurels and a ₹62 crore ultra-modern fish mall is already under construction in Chandauli. In addition to that, a total of 21 schemes are currently being run in Uttar Pradesh to promote the breeding of fishes in the state, for commercial purposes.
