With an aim to provide relief to residents from different areas in Lucknow, the Lucknow Development Authority started operations across seven new zonal offices on August 15.
With this new development, public grievances related to housing map approvals, flat registrations and more will be efficiently handled. Earlier, for any of these procedures, citizens had to visit the LDA head office in Gomti Nagar.
Setting public grievance redressal as a priority
These zonal offices have been opened as per the demographical need of different areas in Lucknow.
Reportedly, Zone 1 will be managed by the LDA head office in Gomti Nagar, Zone 2 by the new zonal office opposite BR Ambedkar University, Zone 3 by the MIG Para chowki zonal office, Zone 4 by the zonal office at CHC, Sec 1 Aliganj, Zone 5 by the zonal office at CHC, Sector H Jankipuram, Zone 6 by Lalbagh zonal office and Zone 7 by the zonal office at Joggers park, Dubagga.
As per officials, a dedicated time slot has been scheduled for public grievance redressal between 10 AM to 12 PM. In addition to that, separate CUG numbers have also been given for each office, details of which will be written on the board of the zonal office so that people can get their queries sorted out.
