Lucknow University has announced full financial support for the education of family members of the 26 victims killed in the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai said the university will cover all expenses including tuition, accommodation, food and books for any affected family member wishing to study at the institution.

In a video message on X, Rai condemned the terror attack, one of the deadliest in the region since 2019, and extended solidarity to the bereaved families. The assault, which targeted tourists at Baisaran meadow, left 26 dead and several injured.
The university’s initiative stands as a symbol of solidarity and support, offering a path forward through education to those affected by the devastating event.
