Sanjay Dutt was here in Lucknow for his upcoming movie, Prasthaanam, which is a remake of the 2010 Telugu political thriller. Dutt has been shooting here for two months now, along with Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff and city’s very own Ali Fazal.
Some of the locations from- Indira Gandhi Pratishthan and Ambedkar Park in Gomti Nagar, Jahangirabad Palace in Hazratganj, old Lucknow and the Rumi gate in Chowk, Aunty house on Havelock road, La Martiniere College and Gomti Riverfront have been used as the film’s set and will appear on the big screen, once again, proving that Lucknow truly is the chosen city for filmmakers.
The movie is being directed by Deva Katta, and the ‘Khalnayak’ actor is portraying the role of Loki in it while Ali Fazal will be essaying the role of Mitra, his stepson.
Manisha Koirala will once again be seen on the big screen after Sanju, playing the role of Dutt’s wife. The movie also includes Jackie Shroff, Satyajeet Dubey, Chunky Pandey and Amyra Dastur.
