The meteorological department has predicted the dust storms and thunderstorms, along with strong winds in over 20 districts in UP.
While the weather will bring relief from the soaring temperatures in some areas, the storms do cause a lot of damage to life and property in the areas highly affected. The districts include Unnao, Farukhabad, Kannauj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Ballia, Ghazipur, Kushinagar, Mau, Deoria, Maharajganj, Balrampur, Shrawasti, Lakhimpur Kheri, Pilibhit, Rampur, Moradabad, Bijnor and Bareilly and their adjoining areas.
