Manu Chauhan's father toiled and struggled as a salesman to fulfil the basic necessities of his family, even though he was the only child. He secured 95.4 per cent in Class 10, was awarded the Outstanding Performance Award in Assessment of Scholastic Skills through Educational Testing twice, became the best speaker in debate competitions and won a gold medal in Open State Level Table-Tennis Championship in 2018. VidyaGyan is a philanthropic initiative by the Shiv Nadar Foundation, which aims to identify talented and gifted students from disadvantaged backgrounds and provide them with world-class education.
